1. The purpose of this contest is to provide members with the opportunity to earn their very own FFA jacket. 2. The contest is open to agricultural education students who are active members of a chartered FFA chapter in good standing with the North Dakota FFA Association and are sophomores or younger - preference will be given to applicants in grades 7-9. The number of winners will be based on the number of jackets sponsored. 3. Jacket winners will be presented with their jackets at the District Leadership and will know before the conference if they have been selected as jacket recipients. No tailored jackets will be ordered. 4. Judges for the essay contest will include state officers, foundation volunteers, and foundation board members. 5. Please complete this application on a computer as this will result in the best formatting. 6. The application deadline is October 15th.
